Is a subscription required?

Yes, an active subscription is required to operate GPX Stream devices. The subscription includes important features like access to GPX Dash, data connectivity, dedicated Support and more! Most importantly, you can pause, start or cancel your subscription at any time!

Can I upgrade, pause, cancel or downgrade my subscription anytime?

Yes! You can upgrade, downgrade, pause or cancel at any time through your GPX Stream account or by contacting Support.

What are the available GPX Stream subscription plans?

GPX Stream offers two subscription tiers — LITE and PRO— designed for different levels of use. PRO Subscribers receive enhanced benefits such as cloud recording, additional simultaneous logins (engineers, coach, family, etc), YouTube live streams and more! LITE Subscribers will receive everything they need to get started: one viewer, essential features, and limited viewing time.

How do I activate a subscription?

You can activate your subscription on GPX Stream when you purchase your device, through your GPX account portal, or directly with Support. If your device was purchased through a partner, series or event program you can activate your subscription by contacting support or by visiting: gpxstream.com/subscriptions/ and completing the checkout process.

How am I billed?

GPX Stream subscriptions are billed monthly to a  credit card on file. Automatic payments are securely processed and payment methods can be managed in your GPX account portal.

My subscription comes with X number of “viewers”, what does that mean?

A “viewer” is anyone else with access to your device in their GPX Dash account. These are typically engineers, crew members, coaches, etc.

PRO Subscriptions include 10 viewers, while LITE subscriptions include 1 viewer. Additional viewers can be added for $20/month by contacting Support. Device owner Dash accounts are automatically included and do not count towards viewer limits.

ONLY ACCOUNT OWNERS (or those explicitly elected by account owners to manage their account) CAN ADD OR REMOVE VIEWERS.

What can a “viewer” do?

“Viewers” can start and stop the GPX Stream remotely, adjust quality settings, review cloud recordings and more all through GPX Dash.

What if I want my friends and family to watch my live stream, without allowing them to control my device?

PRO Subscriptions include your very own YouTube live stream that can be shared with friends and family!

LITE Subscribers can add YouTube to their subscriptions for $25/month.

YouTube streams are configured on request - if you'd like to take advantage of this feature, please contact Support! Please note the initial configuration requires 24 to 48 hours.

Can I have the YouTube stream on my own channel?

Yes! Our YouTube integration team can facilitate your on-board live stream being broadcast directly to your own YouTube channel. Please reach out to our support team to schedule a Zoom call.

What if I have multiple devices?

Your subscription is tied to your device ID and SIM cards - each device requires its own active subscription.

Can I purchase the system for a client and have them set up their subscription?

Yes! In fact, this is very common! S

imply select “Reseller” from the Subscription options during the checkout process and we will reach out to the client directly (with you in copy!) for activation.

Do you offer enterprise accounts for large groups?

Do GPX Stream systems already come with SIM cards? Can I use my own SIM cards?

GPX Stream devices come with high-priority SIM cards preinstalled and configured. The use of our SIM cards is required for device connectivity. Consumer-grade and prepaid SIM cards simply do not come close to the level of quality needed when ultra-low latency, stable, uninterrupted live streaming is required.

Furthermore, we know that cellular networks can work great at some circuits, and not at all at others. GPX Stream SIM cards work across dozens of networks, globally and can be remotely supported by our team.

How long are videos stored on GPX Stream?

PRO Subscribers can access their GPX Stream cloud recordings for 72-hours. Any clips created in GPX Dash will be available for up to 30 days. You can download any clips to your personal device for permanent storage.

Does GPX Stream moderate my video content?

While we monitor streams for quality assurance, GPX Stream does not moderate or distribute user content for third-party viewing. You retain full control over what’s shared or stored.

Is my live stream private?

Absolutely. All live streams and stored clips are viewable only by authorized users in your account.

Can I stream outside of GPX Dash?

Yes! GPX Stream live streams can be configured to stream to YouTube, social media networks, broadcast partners, race control and more!

Can GPX Stream integrate with telemetry systems?

GPX Stream can integrate with data logging systems where HDMI or SDI output are available.

Can I use GPX Stream for broadcast?

While GPX Stream is not intended as a broadcast replacement, GPX Stream livestreams can be ingested using traditional broadcast ingestion points. Our focus on ultra low latency makes GPX Stream systems best suited for live coaching and race control, however we have achieved several broadcast integrations with partners such as SRO America, Porsche Sprint Challenge, VBrick, and more! We recommend scheduling a call with our broadcast integration team to learn more.

Do I need a technical background to operate the GPX Mobile?

No -- GPX Stream is portable, easy-to-use, and can be installed in just a few minutes! Your system will arrive with Quick Start instructions and our Support team is ready to help if you encounter any questions during the process!

Do you offer on-site event Support?

GPX Stream may provide on-site technical and sales staff at selected events throughout the season based on staff availability and volume of GPX users. A vast majority of support inquiries can be resolved faster and more efficiently via our remote support team!
